　　A Farmer and a Snake

　　It was a cold winter morning.A farmer was walking to the hills so as to get some firewood when he saw a poisonous snake.It was stiff with cold.The farmer picked it up and put it inside his clothes.After a few minutes,the poisonous snake came back to life and gave the farmer a bite.When he got home,he fell ill.He knew he was dying.When his friends came to see him,he said,"Poisonous snakes are man's enem-ies.I took pity on the enemy,so I have to die."

　　這是一個寒冷的冬天的早上，一個農夫去山上準備砍一些柴，這時他看到一條毒蛇，它因為寒冷而凍僵了。農夫把它拿起來，放進了他的衣服，幾分鐘后，毒蛇蘇醒過來，咬了農夫一口。 當他回家時病倒了，他知道他快死了，當朋友們來看他時，他說：“毒蛇是人類的敵人，我可憐了敵人，所以我要死了。”
