　　After walking into the “Pet home”, very soon I chose a pet dog. It looks very lovely and it could give a person a kind feeling. These are why I chose him at that moment.

　　My pet dog called Henry, he is two years old now----I have been with it for a year. We get on well each other. He is really friendly and has a golden yellow hair. He likes eating meat, especially beef and he likes playing and sport. Thus, I usually take him to run in the park near our home.

　　Recently, three owls appeared suddenly on our campus. They made me think of my pet from childhood. When I was little, we had an owl at home. It was small, gray, and had two big eyes. It would blink its eyes just like it understood what we were saying. It was like my best friend. But when the weather became colder, we forgot to keep it warm , and it died. 　　However,some others would argue that pets are dirty or dangerous.But I believe it is not that pets themselves are to blame,but their owners.If the owners train their pets properly and take very good care of them,they are unlikely to get dirty or become aggressive.

　　To sump up,there are surely more advantages than disadvantages to keeping a pet,especially for those lonely and young.Money spent on the special food for pets or the high fees paid for pets’ medical treatment is not a waste.

Even in happy and healthy families, keeping pets brings more than just pleasure to life. Kids can learn how to love and take care of others from living together with their animal friends.

As an intelligent and faithful animal, dogs have been trained to be doorkeepers since long time ago.
