　　自薦信要求

　　1、求真務實。寫自薦信務必本著實事求是的態度，切不可弄虛作假。有些畢業生為了增加自己在人才市場的競爭力，弄虛作假，自欺欺人，涂改自己的學習成績，夸大自己的特長，在是否當學生干部一欄自封幾個頭銜，在獎懲一欄憑空捏造幾項榮譽，這些錯誤思想和做法都很不足取。

　　推薦信顧名思義，主要是作為推薦之用，主要為了說明被推薦人的優秀以及推薦原因，所以要在推薦信中概括被推薦人的在校表現及先進事跡或者獎勵經歷等內容，比如“在校表現良好，尊敬師長，團結同學，曾獲得XXX獎”等等，但是要注意的是，千萬不要太過夸大其詞，要盡量根據自己的情況切合實際。

　　2、突出個性，巧妙包裝。

　　3、掌握分寸，措詞得體。

　　4、有的放矢。寫自薦信應講究分寸。

　　如果你是應屆本科生畢業，那么寫推薦信的人應該是任課的教授，一個專業課老師，一個基礎課老師。這樣，一個在專業上突出你的長處和學習能力，另一個則體現你的基礎素質等方面。而對于在職的人來說，寫推薦信的人可以是公司的直接上司和有學術專長的教授。

　　推薦信要突出個人亮點。在推薦信中，并不是把這個人的優點寫得面面俱到就是好推薦信，因為這樣并沒有突出申請者與眾不同的亮點。同時，在國外的院校里，他們每天要收到很多封推薦信，有亮點的信自然會吸引人的注意。一封推薦信中有一個主要的閃光點并有具體例子佐證你的優點即可，這樣會給招生人員留下較為深刻的印象。

　　注意事項一

　　常常有學生把準備好了的推薦信拿來讓翻譯，寫的比個人陳述還長，其實這樣完全沒有必要。浪費時間還費力不討好。推薦人只要就學生的特質著重突出兩到三點即可。至于其它，一語帶過。這樣看起來有主有次，輕重分明。

　　注意事項二

　　推薦人一般都是請老師來充當。這種情況下，不用太多地提及學生平時是怎么做義工，從幾歲開始會彈琴，課下有多么發奮圖強爭分奪秒地學習等等。因為大學老師基本都比較忙，更有很多是身兼數職的，他們根本沒那么多時間去跟一個學生接觸，并且去那么全面深入地了解學生。老師就是教課，更多的是從課堂上跟學生交流互動，所以建議從這里入手。一個從教多年的老師，會很快看出一個學生對學習的態度和熱情，在那些方面有優勢劣勢。作為推薦人，所陳述的內容應該是很有針對性地去評價學生的表現，對于學生的優點長處給予熱情的肯定并進行推薦，而不是平平淡淡地把學生方方面面都夸一遍。

　　注意事項三

　　f.個人成就:在學校、工作或家庭中的特殊表現。如曾經獲得某種獎學金、工作中表現優秀等。g.特殊才能:語言、藝術、體育等方面的特殊能力。

　　有些推薦人也會是輔導員或者單位領導。對于輔導員，平時會跟學生見面較多，對于學生的生活，學習，心里等方面也比較清楚。那么在推薦時，就可以針對學生的性格，為人，或者學習工作的態度、方法從去說明學生的潛質和能力，從而進行推薦。而作為領導，肯定要從工作表現去說。比如創新，比如勤奮虛心好學等。但同時，也可以對學生在處理人際關系方面進行贊揚。因為畢竟在社會上，除了努力工作以外，與人相處也大有學問的，而出國又意味著要面對世界各國的陌生人。
