Spending the Spring Festival

We also put up decorations such as red lanterns, couplets, and paper cutouts to create a festive atmosphere. On New Year's Eve, we have a big family dinner where we eat delicious food and enjoy each other's company. After dinner, we watch the Spring Festival Gala on TV, which is a popular program featuring traditional Chinese performances.
On New Year's Day, we visit our relatives and friends to exchange greetings and wish them good luck for the coming year. We also receive red envelopes with money inside, which is a traditional gift given to children.
In addition to these traditional activities, my family and I like to try new things during the Spring Festival. Last year, we went skiing and had a lot of fun. This year, we are planning to go to a hot spring resort to relax and unwind.
